| When I photograph, I'm not necessarily trying to capture the way the scene looked. I try to show the scene from an artistic perspective, the way I see it. Some say my work looks more like a painting than a photograph. That is fine with me. As long as my work has created a sense of awe and wonderment, I have successfully shared my vision. There can be a lot of post processing to achieve what I want. There are multiple programs that I use to tweak the photograph until I get the end result I was looking for. I find that I enjoy it almost as much as I enjoy taking the photograph. For me, it makes the experience last a little longer. |
